Thanks to all of you who have made this annual event very successful for Peter’s Wooden Toys. You have enabled many young children to enjoy a lot of hours of fun. This year we will be at the Glebe Christmas Craft Fair November 15th and 16th 2025.
We are pleased to announce that all our design and manufacturing efforts have culminated in a new series of toys.
We still have many of your past favourites. The creative process results in new items that will surely please any child.

We have been working hard building new toys for the 2024 Holiday season. Our new product line includes Old Fashion trucks, new trains, and our old favourite trains, airplanes and tractors. Another addition to our growing collection is the various puzzles, small animal collection grouped in affordabe pack of 6.
Our new Doll house is a take-it-apart, paint-it-yuourself model with lots of furniture and 4 peg people.
We have also added a Princess Castle set that lends to fantasy play,. This set includes a Prince, Knight with a horse, 2 Castle Walls and of course a princess. Bonus Unicorn and Dragon.
We have been experimenting with different toys, some more complex than others so sometimes we only make one and decide to not put it in production, however we are open to custom work as well as personalizing items for that special child.
Gift giving season is upon us and we are ready with new and old favourites. Our new additions include a bevy of cats and some dogs as well as new trains and tractors. The holiday time is coming up and we are gearing for another successful holiday season. Last year had its successes and encouraged me to expand my marketing efforts. So this year I expanded to a physical presence here in Ottawa. I have leased shelf space at the Ottawa Artisans “Made in Ottawa” store front at Billings Bridge Plaza to showcase my toys and to provide a locale for folks to actually see before they buy. The link goes to my page on their site and you can also find their location from there.
Ottawa Artisans also have a Holiday Pop up store for the Holiday season at the St Laurent Shopping Center where I have a shelf presence until December. Please come by and visit. Note that the prices at the stores will be higher than that shown on this website as, understandably, there is a cost to being able to sell my wares.
To meet the potential demand I have been furiously making old favourites and new toys which are posted now on this site. Trucks seem popular as do trains and tractors. I have added a canoe with 3 removeable Peg People in homage of my canoe adventure paddling the Rideau Canal from Ottawa to Kingston.

We have added a new category of Airplanes. There are 4 new designs, a large and small jet plane, a biplane and a propeller plane. The small jet plane is suitable for smaller children as there are no really small pieces and is priced at $15. The larger jet, biplane and propeller plane are more complex and suitable for older children and are priced at $25. each.
Although not exactly a toy these are wooden table decorations, hand made and uniquely decorated and coloured. Perfect for the holiday season. They come in a set of 3 for $10.

We have added a Tow Truck with Car as a new offering. The tow truck has a velcro “hook” that can be used with the car which has a corresponding Velcro “tow hitch”. This toy is probably better suited to 3 and up as there are small pieces unlike the small cars. The price is $20 for the set of truck and car.
This will go well with a garage and other cars as they are of the same scale. Of course this is locally hand made, in unfinished pine and maple (wheels).
