About Our Toys

Peter’s Wooden Toys is a small business based in Ottawa that produces handcrafted wooden toys. Each toy is made by selecting pine, custom shaping the wood, and sanding it by hand. The variations in the toys result from the selection of wood, sanding, and other factors, making each toy distinct. Wooden toys may have potential small parts. We recommend these toys for children 3+ years old. Adult supervision is required.

Not all of our wonderful toys are displayed on this website. If you have a specific toy in mind, please contact us. If you want a custom toy or a toy inscribed with a name, we can give you a quote. We will be pleased to meet your request.

Where to Find Us

The Craft Fair season is over for us this year. We plan to be a vendor in 2026 at various locations yet to be determined.

You can always visit us at our Alta Vista workshop by appointment only. Please use our contact form and we will be happy to accommodate you at an agreed upon time.
